Oil, National Security or the "they tried to kill my daddy" riff: which is it? The news out of North Korea is hardly encouraging, and as Counterspin points out, you really have to wonder. Are the images of Gulf War I a better sell with focus groups (and oil companies) than the pictures from the Korean War with frozen corpses and Marines defending their last redoubt? With the confidence of the "house" in Vegas, I'll bet that the Chickenhawks want no part of a Korean Penninsula conflict, no oil just more body bags coming home from SE Asia...again. So much for the "Axis of Evil", it's becoming more and more obvious that it's about the oil for "Axis of Oil"; Exxon/Mobil, Texaco, Shell etc...
