Let's see how many more times we can be stupid, eh Smirk...

Well we now have a pretty good idea of where we might be headed off to next. How does an all-expenses paid vacation visiting the Islamic Holy City of Qum sound if you are unfortunate enough to be sent on the next mis-administration mis-adventure into Southwest Asia. Yup, Iran is popping up on the Smirk-dar. Amazingly enough, the country he had a tough time finding on a map before the 2000 election is now "being warned" not to develop "Nucular Weapins". Or else. Soon we'll be occupying three contiguous formerly sovereign nations, and it'll be ugly. Why it almost sounds like the British Raj. Except it's the Bush Raj instead.

President says,
‘We will not tolerate’ Tehran
bomb-making
...
“The international community must come together to make it very clear to Iran that we will not tolerate construction of a nuclear weapon,” Bush told reporters at the end of a meeting in the White House Cabinet Room. “Iran would be dangerous if it had a nuclear weapon,” he said.
...
Bush labeled Iraq a threat to U.S. national security before invoking his revised U.S. defense posture, which called for pre-emptive attack in such a case.

And there's the money quote...more of that pre-emptive strike crap. How long will it be before Donny and the Neocons are trotting out 24 year-old pictures of the Irani's holding American Hostages from the Embassy during the overthrow of the Shah? I'm betting they'll start surfacing pretty soon on the cable shows, followed by some sites out here in blogtopia.

I forgot to ask, what about North Korea? Oh, well they might actually fight back and they just don't have any oil. But I understand they may have Nukes.

I don't think they'd be too wistful about sending one south and one east. Oops. There go two of our best allies and all the bases.
