More WMD

Roger Ailes (the good one) caught this:

The Phrase of 2004

"Weapons of mass destruction-related program activities."

We've come a long way to have gone nowhere.

George Orwell would have had a field day with George W's misuse of language. What character in Animal Farm would he be? Can we think of the other white meat?

Shag beat me to the Orwell reference. Man, its 1984 all over again-- a year that all Republicans liked because St. Ron was re-elected and served out his term (the only Republican to actually serve a full eight years besides Ike and Grant); they're hoping Dubya is the fourth, by invoking both the letter and the spirit of '84.

up next from the drunken cheerleader...."sadaams' bb guns of mass destruction."

This led to some funny moments in Question Time in the British Parliament as the opposition asked PM Blair to explain the migration from WMD to WMD programs to Bush's new term.

Sarcasm is alive and well in Britain.

Well, it's not 1984, it's really Battlefield Earth.

Whew! And to think I laid awake all those nights thru the 90's worrying about Saddam's weapons-of-mass-destruction-related-program-activities!!! Thanks Dumbya, for getting rid of that bad man!!!

So is the new acronym WMDRPA?
