Aw, now all southerners are not bad, just the ones who have forgotten the lost arts of you know, critical thinking, and such. Having been a Tennessee boy during those formative hs years, I can assure you that this trend started 30 years (or more) ago. It's just now reaching a zenith under the auspices of pandering republican puke-mongers like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and Franklin Graham aided and abetted by the likes of Ralph Reed.

So be kind to southerners, the one you help today may vote democratic tomorrow!

This is what Dean was getting at- repukes use race-baiting but shit on the voter's heads. Same days as segregation- don't worry about being poor sharecropper with nonunion wages, just stay mad at the poor black man as a way to keep your distorted sense of standing in society.

Being negative just reinforces negative response. I know a brother who listens to Hank Sr in Iraq with a guard unit. Delta people have similar upbringing, and can see past the BS that people try to make us seperate.

Time to make an extended family out of those we think are different by fuinding things we share and cherish, like liberty and love of country.
