Seems that the Coalition of the Shilling and the UN (yeah, the one the republicans hate) are not so willing to play by the 1600 Crew's day-timer. Well, that's ok, but isn't there some way we can send the Neocons over there and bring our troops home. I mean aren't there at least 150,000 Certifiable Neocons out there?
The U.S. plan to hand over power in Iraq is increasingly likely to undergo major changes rather than merely "refinements," because of increasing skepticism about the June 30 deadline for creating a provisional government and erosion of support for the proposal to use caucuses to select it, according to senior U.S. and U.N. officials.
...
One option is extending the June 30 deadline for installing an Iraqi government to allow enough time for the direct elections demanded by Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, Iraq's leading cleric. There is already talk about a hypothetical extension to Jan. 1, 2005.
This could mean that the U.S.-led Coalition Provisional Authority would stay longer, which could carry political costs for President Bush in an election year and anger Iraqis who want an end to foreign occupation, U.S. officials concede.
I guess that since none of the uber-rich-kid neocons ever worked in retail, they're not too familiar with the term "you broke it, you bought it". Guess they're learning the haaaard way.

If Iraq can't have open and free elections before returning Iraq to its people, then perhaps George W can cancel this Fall's election here and declare martial (or Martian? or marital?) law. Otherwise, the FALL OF BUSH II is scheduled for this Fall.

Bush will never remove the American troops while he is in power. The same day our troops leave will be the end of Bush's oil contracts. Don't you think Iraq can make better deals for themselves, better than what George Bush gave them for their oil? In fact, Iraq oil deals will be better for the American consumer, too: Remember ENRON!
