Punkin' Chimpy for Charity

Seems that Fearless Leader will be on Meet the WhorePress on Sunday. NBC has been busy flogging the dog. So here's the question, during the LoTU, several of us made donations to charities when Prezit No Give Turkee said certain things. I donated about a hundred bucks to Amnesty International and a fellow blogger after the LoTU. How about we play this game again? Perhaps instead of Amnesty you all pick another charity and I have a great blogger in mind who has just been having a wonder-fucking-ful time in the BushEconomy™. I'll take charitable suggestions until about noon on Saturday; there's nothing wrong with Amnesty, but I'm already on their mailing list.

I need to come up with some good terms for Fearless Leader to repeat/say, and a schedule of $$ for each term. Suggestions?

Here's a start:
$1 for freedom-loving $.50 for Freedom
$5 for mentioning Saddam and 9/11 within related breaths (the first time)
you get the idea. I'm going to go take a look at SKBubba's schedule and maybe poach that, it was pretty good.
oh, how about $25 if Punkin'Head asks about his service records? That's the Prize.

Help me out here with a charity and some more watchwords...anyone else who wants to play and toss some bucks in is welcome to do so.

Comments:

I would like to be a fly on the wall at the White House for the training and preparation of George W for his PRESS THE MEAT session with potatohead (i.e., Russert). This would most likely be at taxpayer expense and take George W away from his full-time day job of running the country. How many people and how much time will be involved? Has George W improved that much with his unscripted responses that he does not need extensive preparation? Or is the White House relying upon Russert serving up soggy Freedom Fries?

If Tim uses the weapons at his disposal, such as he demonstrates when he questions Democrats, this could presage the FALL OF BUSH II this Fall.

Count me in for $250.00 for any charity Jo Fish designates if Punkinhead adlibs from the script supplied by the WH and confronts our deserter-in-Chief about his shameful and cowardly military past in any but the most conciliatory terms.

On a serious note--since 9/11, local charities have taken quite a hit on donations to sustain operations. The locals provide food, shelter, worker training, youth activities, etc. for those who fall through the gaps in our communities. If you live in the D.C. area there are 3 great charities: The Little Blue House (helps children of drug/alcohol addicted mothers http://www.littlebluehouse.org/); Second Genesis (help w/ addiction http://www.secondgenesis.org/Web%20Nat%20Newest%20Welcome.htm); and SOME (So Others Might Eat http://www.some.org/)---all of these have proven success track records.:-) If you live elsewhere, there is a good site that will let you assess your charities: http://www.charitynavigator.org/

Here's a great place to send a few bucks: http://www.34millionfriends.org/ It was formed to help replace the $34 million that Bush withdrew from the United Nations Population Fund, which provides money for women's healthcare and voluntary family planning services throughout the world.
