He spends better than a quarter of his time on vacation and most of the rest jetting at taxpayer expense around the country.
Seems to me that Jimmy Carter concentrated on the hostage crisis during his re-election campaign. Bush claims we're at war, and we damn sure have people fighting and dying in Afghanistan and Iraq, so why isn't he at the White House watching over things?
I'm sorry, but I don't see that when it comes time to line up presidential war speeches, Bush's call for the American people to SHOP in response to 9-11 is going to make the cut.
