Paging John Kerry...

If you are going to be the presumptive nominee, you need to say this louder, more often and with a greater degree of scorn for the 1600 Crew:

"This is not a conservative Republican administration, this is an extreme radical administration," Kerry said, accusing Bush of "walking away" from U.S. veterans.
It's not the collegiality of the good ol' boy Senate anymore. They will stop at nothing short of ripping off your head and .... well you know the rest. Don't be a nice guy. Be the winner. We need you.

Hold On, Jo Jo! You are right Senator Kerry needs to speak up, but what he needs to say is that he apologizes to all those who served in the Vietnam War for slandering them to advance his political fortunes...according to M.T.Owens, USMC 68-69
Quang Tri province, Vietnam in the current National Review. I guess he M.T. didn't like Kerry reading Jane Fonda's opinions about US soldier's to the Congress as if they were facts.

Georgie-Porgie!

Did Mom make you get up from the easy chair so she could vacuum up more potato chip crumbs?

This is going to come as a shock to you, but Lt Kerry had a legal right to disagree with what he did in Vietnam. He didn't slander his fellow warriors who actually answered his country's call and served honorably. He slandered the lamer politicians and senior officers who demanded those actions be taken that shamed Kerry's, Barry's, Jo's and my service. (If I've failed to mention anyone who is proud to display his DD-214, I apologize. The error is in my memory, not my recognition.) You see, Georgie-Porgie, unlike you and Commander Empty Flightsuit, some of us did in fact serve.

And Georgie-Porgie, I think the verdict of history is that what LT Kerry did was honorable in the act, and dishonorable in the policy. What the Occupant of our Oval Office did was dishonorable in both act and policy. He had a safe seat in the show and didn't even have the strength of character to see it through. As for yourself, well, you know best what you are.

You know I was in Viet Nam to and saw a fair amount of action the same as Kerry. I cut my little finger and hurt my big toe but I didn't get a Purple Heart like he did. He missed 2 whole days of action. WOW. In my eyes he is NO WAR HERO at all. If I had his record to go on I would keep my mouth shut. As far as Kerry running for president I have not heard him or any other canidates say just how they are going to improve anything. So since they can not even tell me why should I vote for him or anyone else.
Talk is cheap.
