Kerry to the Chimp

John Kerry sez to Shrub:

Massachusetts Sen. John F. Kerry, reacting sharply to Republican attacks about his record on defense issues and Vietnam-era antiwar activities, sent a letter to President Bush late Saturday challenging him to a debate about their military experiences during the Vietnam War.

In his letter, Kerry wrote, "Over the last week, you and your campaign have initiated a widespread attack on my service in Vietnam, my decision to speak out to end that war and my commitment to the defense of this nation."

Of course after swearing to show, Fearless Leader never gets there...other priorities you understand.

After all, past performance predicts future problems I'm thinkin'.

What has Kerry got past this? Bushista will have someone start debate in Uniform or a nam vet there who asks this not become an issue for a debate. After that what has Kerry got? Can he win over domestic policy votes?

Or he uses this point and hammers Bush (despite the fact candidates are not allowed to address one another). Or the delay feed switches out a Bush gaffe, or just shows pictures of other people instead of the chimp's facial expression (even www.30 second of facial expression.com).

Would have rather seen Clark handle this matter. But this war has a lot of wounds, Bush was as a much a cuase of the wounds with a war hawk oil-war lobby dad. Clark can find a way to build on it instead of opening these wounds anew.

Let it come home to roost. Is Kerry a licensed field vet? Opening a wound to remove the cystola that is W is the number one need at this time. If he can show the surgeon's craft instead of his blunt bludgeon tactics, gladly remove this for us all.

It is damage to the organs I worry about more, those who comprise the body of America , as people who served or supported this Country when called. The everyday citizen.
The guts of Congress can get cut up some, DeLay and Co. need to to be removed as well, their hemorrhage would be an acceptable side affect.

Will there be enough left to work with or will we be stonewalled with a locked house?

An end to collateral damage is what is being called for here. Kerry wants to add more troops- draft time coming up. College is more stratified than ever, bushistas let tuiton go up to ridiculous rates. The fratbrothers have hatched a nice egg for the sons of excess and plenty.

Get Clark in to build a coalition, we need to get others involved in these matters to bear the brunt of the soldier relations. Countries that speak arab or are moderate islamic.
Perhaps if we extradite Chalabi it could help. Speed the process up, legitimacy is the issue.

By the way , Kerry's platform is including mandatory 2 year service for all young Americans... seems the problem with Communism was that mandatory service affected quality of it and the morale effect was noticed in active service.

Maybe my vote for Clark will equal a war vote as well. The understanding of those who served calling the shots as entrusted representatives is imperative.
