Would not surprise me

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...literally. Way too nice for my tin-foil hat to come out, until I saw this little bit of news.

Pentagon and Pakistani officials on Saturday denied an Iranian state radio report that Osama bin Laden was captured in Pakistan's border region with Afghanistan "a long time ago."
...
The director of Iran radio's Pashtun service, Asheq Hossein, said he had two sources for the report. The radio quoted its reporter as saying bin Laden had been in custody for a period of time, but a U.S. announcement of the capture was being withheld by President Bush until closer to the November election.

"Osama bin Laden has been arrested a long time ago, but Bush is intending to use it for propaganda maneuvering in the presidential election," he said.

With the recent comments about Preznit dummer'n'dogshit going to Ground Zero for an acceptance speech, it would not surprise me at all to see bin Laden in chains on a jumbotron behind that incomptetant, hateful asshole.

It's so totally Rovian.

Morning Jo:

Yeah, I heard that on the local all-news radio station a couple of hours ago. I didn't know whether to jump for the foil hat or the keyboard. But as Mark Kleinman (I think) once noted, No matter how bad you think it is, it's worse.

Stock tip of the day: Invest HEAVILY in Alcoa.

They got him. We all know they've got him. Their denials just make it official, right? I mean, they never tell the truth about anything, because they are incapable of the truth.

We had that leaked story last week that they had him (oops!) and the recurring reports that they're gearing up to get him. Plus the reports of a "sense of urgency" about it.

Now, I keep saying it: once Commander Empty Flightsuit's poll numbers start hovering around 40, or dip lower, they'll have to trot him out right away, and plan something else for October.

Sure Bin O'Craps capture will give Bushwhack
a small poll jolt, but what Rove really plans is during the Democratic convention or right after is the annoucement that Cheney will retire and Rudy or Tom Ridge will get the VP nod. Nothing like a few million worth of corporate media advertising for free.

It will not matter. The judge(white house counsel) for gitmo (alberto gonzales) was the attorney general for texas under shrubya. His previous job was Vincent and Elkins law firm LLP, assistant to Arthur Andersen, Enron's account crew (whose lawyer james brosnehan defendeds Taliban at gitmo).

Vincet and Elkins ring a bell? Bush Sr's uncle, John Foster Dulles, and Kenneth Starr. By the way that firm and Andersen have ties to Global Crossing corporation, whose Asian holding were purchased in full by the Carlysle group(James Baker), and Terry mcAuliffe has some holdings in them (only one McAwwwShittt source I could find on it via google-page 11 not certain).

One big circle of jerks jerking away...
