Which makes him a gay, catholic, republican, libertarian liar, instead of just a liar. Whew. I feel better now knowing the Duchess' true political leanings. Maybe it was the whole "Clinton at McDonalds" thing that got him going, not the marital infidelity and lying under oath thing. I mean who would have read Sullivan if he had been writing about Clinton's diet? Well, we'll never know, the Jayson Blair of P-town won't be that forthcoming anytime soon...

Nononono! It makes him a gay (formerly bisexual), catholic (non-practicing, but still more catholic than the pope or mel gibson), social or "classic" liberal (except where marriage is concerned, in which case he is a "classic" conservative), and yet up-until-last-month-slavishly-Bush-supporting classic neo-retro pre-post keynesian/friedman macro-micro "fiscal" conservative vehemently opposed to affirmative action except when the media needs a token house homo to tap dance for them, in which case affirmative action is fine--unless said media chooses ANOTHER gay pundit to expound on Sullivan-invented topics such as Gay Marriage™ or the "New" Anti-Semitism™ -- in which case Sullivan will character assassinate, fulminate, pant and pout and shriek and bully until someone pays attention to HIM again...
oh, and "narcissism" is a "code word for gay," according to Sullivan...which only makes his critics "homophobes."
