Andrew Janus

Just like the two-faced guy, The Andrew is arguing both side of the point simultaneously. Again. Sigh.

This is a war, Senator Kerry, not a law enforcement operation.
So today he says:
The strongest argument against him [Kerry] is that he will not take the war seriously enough to allow law enforcement to play its vital but complementary part, and would prematurely pull out of Iraq.
Damn, Andrew don't you even bother to read what you wrote earlier? I mean really, law enforcement or not? If there were ever a reason to know that Sullivan is undeserving of the attention he once garnered and his star is setting this has to be it. He can't even be consistent in his own logic. The Andrew Janus Decree: If it feels good, write it.

I can't get out of my mind the picture of Andrew flip-flopping while wearing flip-flops traversing the Provincetown dunes.

if this is a war, why do we have a drunken deserter at the helm? can't we do better than that?

Why are liberal democrats such a hateful crowd? All I hear is crap like this. Hateful, spiteful, millitant, and factless bickering from a crowd with no answers.

>Why are liberal democrats such a hateful crowd?

Gee Steve, a half-trillion dollar medicare boondoggle (with de rigeur baldfaced lies about the actual cost), phony war in Iraq, skyrocketing debt, nonexistent economic recovery, gov't agencies being used as campaign hq for the incumbent, anti-whistleblower laws enacted by the administration to punish those who point out corruption, massive FCC intimidation of broadcast (and now print) media, and too much more to mention, really--and a chorus of breathless know-nothing cybergossips shrieking that EVERYTHING IS GREAT.

You do the math...oh wait, never mind. If you're a conservative republican we know how good your math skills are.

Yeah that line of argument was on CNN just like 2 weeks ago, Sully is so behind the curve.

Staring at guys' asses from following the herd produces these results.

Posted the same argument on another blog as well.

Less police from tax cuts, and they make this arugment.

Sully flip-flops, what is new...

From the daily Duchess:
"CONCEDING A POINT: Here's where some war critics surely have a point. Fighting back aggressively can and will increase the numbers of alienated young men across the globe eager to kill in the name of anti-Western Islamism. The answer, of course, is not to give in or appease. (There were plenty of such alienated men around to do serious damage before we responded adequately.) But it is to fight back boldly with the military, create a democratic space in the Muslim Midle East, and work to foil terror quietly, subtly and powerfully behind the scenes. It's war, democratization and law enforcement. "

And a dessert topping!

Wait, so NOW Sullivan "gets" it? Will he retract his numerous insults to Sen. Kerry on this "law enforcement" meme that he has obviously pioneered (like political blogging! only five years after drudge!!!!)? Sullivan needs to realize--too late, as always--that it doesn't matter how many (few) points he, belatedly, years, YEARS later, decides he must, hmm, now that he's, ya know, kinda swinging left again, "concede", when he has been 100% WRONG from the very beginning.

Why can't Sullivan see that he is so stupid, so pig-headed, so truly incapable of any kind of independent thought or analysis, that THAT'S why he gets so much derision heaped on him in the first place?

Too little, WAY too late, Princess...
