More Plame

Joe Wilson, the husband of Valerie Plame...you remember her? Just released his book and points fingers at three "senior administration" officials. Crashcart's Chief of Staff, the ever-so-cutely appelationed "Scooter" Libby, Former Iran-Contra Superstar, Elliott Abrams and (here's a shocker) Unka Karl. Of course that fountain of integrity, Scott McClellan has told us it just can't be, cause see, he asked them all if they did it or not.

Last October, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said his conversations with Rove, Libby and Abrams have ruled out their involvement.
Whew, glad ol'Scott cleared that right up. Jeez, if he could only have worked for Ken Starr: "...so Mr. President, did you have sex with that woman? Oh, yes sir, appreciate your time, thanks. Fellas just put that $70 million back in the Treasury, he just gave me an answer off the record."

I never thought I'd actually miss Ari.

Comments:

And after Richard Clarke's book revealed terrorist threats by means of LNGs coming into U.S. harbors, including Boston, there were strong denials and ridicule from George W's Administration - until just the other day when documents surfaced to prove Clarke's point. I wonder if the Administration extended its apologies to Clarke. Scott?

Oooo, and this little nugget about the whole Niger/Yellowcake fiasco:

...Saddam Hussein's information minister, Mohammed Saeed Sahhaf, often referred to in the Western press as "Baghdad Bob,"...approached an official of the African nation of Niger in 1999 to discuss trade -- an overture the official saw as a possible effort to buy uranium.

That's according to a new book Joseph C. Wilson IV, a former ambassador who was sent to Niger by the CIA in 2002 to investigate reports that Iraq had been trying to buy enriched "yellowcake" uranium. Wilson wrote that he did not learn the identity of the Iraqi official until this January, when he talked again with his Niger source.

That hissing sound you hear is the air leaking out of Joe Wilson's book tour.

Shoulda spent less time sitting around hotel pools in the capital "sipping sweet mint tea" and more time tracking down leads and checking your galleries, no?

Over to you, Scott!

So they send their most visible face to do a covert op? Sounds like a plan. No wonder it didn't go through.
Just makes the obvious conclusion of a no-go deal easier to conclude.

If anything the name involved in the supposed deal would confirm the outcome as Wilson described.Too high profile and over the top to be feasable.

Hannity moment is over now furious, resume stupidity. By the way Blix, Ritter confirmed their capacity at time of the Israeli air strike (with fighters we sold them and out satellite assisatance) decimated their potential to make weapons grade material when their entire audit of said substance was a mere 6 grams. It takes 8-10 kg to complete one.ALmost two thousand times less than their previous maximum capactiy. And nothing since that air strike had made the program a practical application for arms porduction.
As for getting things from North Korea, how could that be when both countries were under embargo/sanctions and thus monitored by the UN closely?

The entire Iraq war lie is full of holes and the closer one looks the worse it gets.

That thingee about it being against the law to publicly reveal the name of the covert operative...

As recently as three months ago Amb. Wilson listed his wife under her maiden (professional spook) name ("He is married to the former Valerie Plame...") in his bio at the Think Tank where he is an adjunct scholar.

Now the reference has been excised.

Damn, shoulda saved a screenshot. Well, anyway, looks like he's no longer comitting the felony of which he's accused others.

Good for him. Now he's just has to get his Niger/yellowcake story straight.

Mr. Murder:

You're faith in the UN's ability to monitor and enforce the Iraq sanctions is naive, and rather touching.

Especially in light of the news about the head of the UN's Oil-for-Palaces program and other UN functionaries getting under-the-table oil allotments from the Saddamites throughout the sanctions regime.

And nice try moving the goal posts "well, ur uh, yeah, Iraq was there after all, but it woulnd't have worked anyway!" LMAO.

And good ol' pedophile Scott Ritter, who in addition to trolling for underage girls on the Internet, was caught taking $400,000 from an Iraqi businessman linked to Saddam.

So, Iraq *was* in Niger scouting for Yellowcake, the UN itself was on the take for its *own* sanctions programme, and one of your star witnesses is a moppet panty-sniffer on Saddam's payroll.

Oh, yeah, "full of holes and looking worse the closer one looks", inDEED. Keeerist, but you dipshit liberals are such easy prey.

DesertJo,
See the Boston Globe, April 29, 2004, front page article "US probes for a Qaeda tie to Hub" by Charles Savage and Bryan Bender. Ed Markey, Congressman from Massachusetts, received a response to his inquiry to Homeland Security that suggests Clarke's statement in his book that "Al Qaeda operatives had been infiltrating Boston by coming in on liquid natural gas tankers from Algeria" may have some merit to it. Originally there was outright denial by the Bush Administration presumably to attempt to demonstrate that Clarke was full of beans about Boston. Homeland Security is investigating. Let's see how it plays out.

Scot Ritter served in the marines. He is no dishonor to our country.

As for the food for oil program, Condie Rice was the number one beneficiary of this program in America via Chevron oil that she chaired at said time.

We cannot hurt the natural gas connections, Cheney is capturing market share for an already obsolote "clean energy" fuel cell program (they've been viable alternative and feasable since the late 80s by the way).

Drink the kool-aid there, it does you well. Spout those lies all ya want. Crawford has enough room for two village idiots, your posts wont be missed after this election.

Mentioning Ken Starr is out of place, he was an employ of Vincent and Elkins, THE FIRM, which featured Dulles, Ken Starr, aWol's uncle, and Alberto Gonzales the Gitmo appointed counsel.

V&E was LLP to Arthur Andersen, whose attorney James Brosnehan was John Walker Lyndh's appointed counsel.

One big happy familee, with enough turkee for all!

Too bad Squat McMellon's word doesn't amount to pooh in court to get them off the hook. The CIA leak did more harm to our safety than the entire qWagmire lie campaign in and of itself and may lead to ulitmate casualties, in the millions.

That jerk they call their press secretary, is what is called shit for brain's. That jerk would'nt know the truth if it crawled up
his ass and bit him. I would like to see the whole bunch go thru the lie detector test. I would figure they would need a whole lot of ink. I would like to call McClellen an asshole but an asshole has a function, and I see no use for that piece of shit.
