Wilson wrote that he did not learn the identity of the Iraqi official until this January, when he talked again with his Niger source.

Ed Markey, Congressman from Massachusetts, received a response to his inquiry to Homeland Security that suggests Clarke's statement in his book that "Al Qaeda operatives had been infiltrating Boston by coming in on liquid natural gas tankers from Algeria" may have some merit to it. Originally there was outright denial by the Bush Administration presumably to attempt to demonstrate that Clarke was full of beans about Boston. Homeland Security is investigating. Let's see how it plays out.
