Been suffering from a killer-bad migraine; the kind that puts me in the hospital, which is what I'm trying to avoid...back later today or tomorrow. Too much good stuff to miss, but I can't even look at the monitor right now.
Thanks, go check out some of the great links in the Pond (ISEbrands.com is a new catch).
Back Later...sorry for the bloggus interruptus.

I'm sorry and hope you feel better. I get migraines occasionally, but the worst they ever get is the put-me-to-bed-for-12-hours variety. I can only imagine what you're going through.

I've found that applying heat (heating pad, hot shower) to the painful areas can relieve some of the pain. Also Excedrin Migraine (tm) or something along those lines, if your stomach can take it.

Migraines, UGH. It's all this Bush baloney! Too much stress.
Motrin, lots of Motrin. But if it's gone past the wavy vision all you can do is sleep.
Order delivery pizza when its over, and don't move your sore head too much.
Feel better.

I just thought of this. If you are looking for an alternative. There is a muscle in the neck that massage therapists sometimes call "the headache muscle". I used to get horrible headaches that would not go away until I was getting a massage at a spa in Hawaii and the therapist told me about it, massaged it, and made the headache that I had during the entire flight from the mainland and the first two hours there go away. Now I can massage that muscle myself and make the headaches go away by myself. It isn't the trapezius. Don't know the technical name for it. It is in the neck forward of the trapezius. Try it. Find a good massage therapist and talk to him or her about it. Worst thing that could happen is you wind up with a relaxed neck.
