I managed to avoid the hospital and all it's 'bad craziness'. Which is a 'good thing'. Damn, HST and Martha in one line...whooda thunk it?
I truly appreciate all your thoughts, good wishes and great advice...
I could not stay in bed much longer, so Mrs. Fish let me get on-line for a few minutes if I promised not to yell, and stayed away from the freepers...
So with all that, I found a couple of things to talk about, and then its back to the 'recovery zone' before they make me take more steroids and triptans....

Jo,
I’m sorry you get such terrible migraines. I’ve been prone to cluster migraines and daily tension headaches for about twenty years but (fortunately) I’ve never had to go to the hospital for them. I’ve just taken a couple of Excedrin every two or three hours, every day for the last two decades. No fun… No fun at all.
In any case, do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself. We’ll wait… right here… no pressure… ;)
Sending nothing but good thoughts your way.

Jo,
Mrs. Fish's advice about the freepers is sound even if you don't suffer from migraines. Good luck.
Try that neck massage. Get someone trained in Swedish massage technique and medical massage. Mention the "headache muscle". They should know what that is about. Like I said, forward of the trapezius on the side of the neck. You have to go deep to get at it. Ask them about it on the phone. If they know the muscle and have had results with treating migraines, go for it. It worked with my headaches, though they weren't migraines as far as I know.

glad yer feelin' better Jo.
the freepers will make you bust a blood vessel in yer nugget. no wonder mrs. fish wants you to stay away from them for a while.
Cous coming down with them, doc says he may have some AV malformation checks.
Arteriovenous Vascular lesions/ Malformations (AVMs) occur at birth but usually show up in later years in their most common forms. Arteries and Veins merge into areas that cause circulatory problems and even some clotting dysfunctions at the capillary level.
10-55 is when they are considered most risky, at later years when the arterial pressure becomes too much for the veins, resulting in further abnormal growth that form high clot/hemorrhage risk.
Still after one event the risks increase and there are some indications it metastisizes into non benign/dormant stages.
He was was supposed to check on it today, it's been draining his energy and he has some pretty strong headaches, the kind only getting off of feet seem to change.
They can occur in other parts of the body aside from neural regions as well and often lead to chronic fatigue.
