Funny Man, should have been a comedian

But he would have failed at that too...Fearless Leader is such a loser, when he goes back the UN they'll listen politely and then laugh their asses off in private.

President Bush prepared Sunday for a campaign to rally support at the United Nations about his policies in Iraq, while senior envoys struggled in Baghdad with competing demands by Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds for the top positions of the new caretaker government.
It must make the Neocons just wanna punch a wall to have to think about asking for UN participation...I'm guessing that willing and actually cooperative UN backing for anything will come after the November election, they have nothing vested in operations as run by the 1600 Crew, and are not known for speedy decision-making, especially when asked by documented liars for help.

I'm guessing that the real reason there's a June 30th date is so that Eye-Rack-e unpleasantness does not interfere with the bold brush-cutting of the annual August Crawfordfest. I mean, after all, once a coward always a coward right? It's easier to run away and cut some brush another day, or am I wrong?

Comments:

If things go wacky with the June 30th date, then Bush Jr.'s Plan B might be to then blame the UN and as an October surprise once again take pre-emptive action. He'd rather be President than be right.

Well, there's one of two things to come of this. Either the UN tells Bush to go piss up a rope, which I expect will happen, or there has been feverish bribing going on behind the scenes, probably involving multi-billion dollar contracts that the Halliburtons and their subsidiaries are willing to give up in order to get four more years of thieving. THEY, at least, can look down the road and plan for the longer term. Better to steal less for four additional years than to try to steal everything in the remaining months.

Blam the UN when it fails, remind everyone how good it was going until we let others get involved, then take a month off to clear brush and see what happens around Sept. 11th...

Nothing like a convention in the world's largest city to ruin a 9-11 vacation... and Air America is beating Rush and ABC combined for ratings in the Big APple... manthings will be pretty.

Why do those New yorkers hate civilian contractors so much? Cannot wait to see the riot police. And some the Abu Gharib guys were an NYC guard detail. "Libruls on a leash" led around by those 'good ol' gals' will put them in their place.

Anyways it will be Bush's chance to prove brown skinned people can govern themselves. Perhaps Mr.Rangle can remind him the fact the big apple is doing well in this regard with him there already...

I'll be avoiding NYC during that convention. Not a safe place for a Democrat. I was there a week ago for dinner at Patria, a wonderful restaurant on the corner of 20th and Park. Expensive, but the service is wonderful and the food impeccable. I'd rather eat dogsmeat than go in when the Republicans are partying hard, bringing their family values to the Apple. I expect the hookers will do well, though.

Actually, truthfully, I think this will be a very interesting convention for what goes on outside the hall. I seriously believe we will see some significant abuses by non-police security (NY cops are okay with me, folks--I have always found them to be very professional and they have my respect). And I predict we will see some significant abuses from convention attendees. No real reason to expect it. I just have this weird prescient thing about it. You can tell me I am wrong later, if I am.
