The Big Dog v. the Little Runt

Why one will be remembered as a Leader and one will be consigned to the trash heap of history.

BILL Clinton claims that he warned President George Bush before he took office that the biggest threat to national security was Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda, in a sensational passage from his memoirs revealed for the first time yesterday.
...
The details - culled from the first leaked copy of his memoirs - reveal that Mr Clinton has pulled no punches in his account of his presidency, even when it is he on the receiving end.

In the passage on his al-Qaeda warning, when Mr Bush was president-elect, Mr Clinton claims Mr Bush said little in response, and then switched subjects.

Mr Clinton looks at his personal failings with surprising candour, saying that his wife looked as if he had punched her in the gut when he finally confessed to his affair with Monica Lewinsky.
...
"I did something for the worst possible reason. Just because I could," he said. "I think that’s just about the most morally indefensible reason anybody could have for doing anything."

How much different is that than Preznit Do-No-Wrong?

In about 100 years, when all our Allies have finally forgiven and but not forgotten the Hubris of the 1600 Crew the history of this presidency will finally be judged as it should be. It won't be pretty.

Clinton will get a far better shake from history, and it's starting already. About two president from now, when they start to unseal the records of the 1600 Crew (what's not shredded before January 20th) it's going to be pretty clear what a miserable job they've done. In all respects, but mostly with respect toward ensuring our "domestic tranquility"... no one expected the 1600 Crew inquisition...right now, I'd settle for the comfy chair. Preznit Whore-for-Votes is already going for the fanatical devotion to the Pope to try and stay in power to try and keep us from learning about the 1600 Crew malfeasance any time sooner than we have to .

Clinton has accepted accountability. Why?
"Because I could."

When I heard the man say that it rung so many bells, finally googled up and guess who's name appeared frist?

The big apple pundit who just got the proverbial bitch-slapping of media payback at the hands of the best modern two term President.

Clinton remembered those words, took them to heart. The same information Bush waged a war he over said "no" to seeing the other table held a bluff hand and knowing our soldiers were the stakes. No fly zones and able command(Wes Clark included) kept Saddam in check.

Collateral damage is not a commodity board line or a return on investment profit margin.

John Kerry now says Bring It On! BECAUSE HE CAN!

After a complicit media termed the debate Big Dog turned those tables. And you will call his wife "mam" or "Mrs.Rodham-Clinton" when you see her, trolls. Respect the lady and honor her decision to forgive and keep their marriage sacred. Oh you do not respect other's definiton of marriage or sacred? What else is new...

They embody merit and the wedge issue in the same instance. Respect them they made America loved for a brief great time.

Emily Dickinson was a NY pundit? Who'd have known. Although I can see why the media might want to slap her around a bit. I think the elitist bitch even spoke French.

Anyway, Mr. Murder, you murder logic and language with that message. Emily is who googles up first.

Would you mind parsing "The same information Bush waged a war he over said "no" to seeing the other table held a bluff hand and knowing our soldiers were the stakes" for me? I really want to understand.

Because the price of knocking off a third world dictator paled in comparison to making all of Islam attack us. It kept heat off Israel for a brief moment and was pushing Saudi oil grabs past peak output but none of those reasons are worth putting ours to battle.

And you are wrong there, I googled up the name Friedman along with it...

Oh and it is nice of you to point out that a wannabe rightwinged ragger plagiarised because he could not stop for death and a UN vote...

And his disclosure and proximity to the perle cabal in NYC and DC leads this citizen to say that he Plame-erized Freehly.

Friedman does not play in the top 20 hits if you google on "because I could". So I am not wrong, you are.

But I thank you for your explanation on that one sentence. And I don't disagree with you. Do not assume that because someone is checking the accuracy of your claims that they necessarily are in disagreement.

Of course Little Bush changed the subject when Clinton so rudely mentioned Osama's name. Nobody likies to hear trash talk about one of his dear childhood friends.

I believe that Georgie and Sammy used to play 9-11 in the yard in Midland while Poppy and Daddy bin Laden were in the living room discussing adult stuff.

Sorry about that Nash, one tends to get out of character at times. Bush and Ari termed the debate, and sometimes the "with/against us" tone goes against the tamer part of discourse.

Kerry On!
PS- I had a journalist name in head, and his was first journalist name to come up nonspecefic to Clenis (TM).

Clinton has taken their term to justify going past a 1441 deciding vote and past the scope of coalition two days early to fight.

Because I could- he takes accountability. Watch nobody in Bush do the same. That is the difference. One of the two is better than his mistakes.

Thanks for the other correction as well, it 'twas the intent. When I run more than the minimum windows words can become lag casualties.

My bad there, glad to have someone patient to see through to the content !
