Stupid is as Sully says

Okay, help me out here, I know we've covered this before but I just have to know why ... Clinton lied about getting a getting a blow-job, certainly among the things the Baroness has at the top of her list of Indoor Olympic Sports, and he was not only unfit to be a leader but was to be denied membership in the Human Race. Preznit All-American Fuck-up not only lies about Everything Saddam, but uses the War on Terra™ as an excuse for Everything Iraq, hands out fat, longterm, no-bid, budget-breaking contracts to his VP's former company and Sullivan wants to be sure that Preznit BOHICA Boy is a moral, righteous guy, because well Kerry looks funny.

If this were not so sad, it would be hysterical. And Andy, what's with this:

I'm still glad we fought it.
We? Hardly. It was them, wasn't it Sullivan, the men and women you refer to as your paid servants. Because "we" implies me and I'm hardly glad for preemptive war, or any other kind of war where there was never a clear and present threat to America; you know like what is posed by Osama bin Forgotten, the man conveniently forgotten by Fearless Leader.

Oh, and Andy...happy FMA in the Senate day are all your Commander Codpiece dreams coming true? You do after all, love him, does he love you too?

What's ironic about Sully is that (even were he a US citizen) he would never be eligible for either the volunteer Army or a draft because of his rampant "Duchessness", if you know I mean. There's that whole "Don't ask, dont' tell" thing...

Provincetown Bear Week. I love it. Speaking as a bear (but not the Provincetown type), I'm delighted and amused that our gay brothers have taken being a bear and turned it into a cause for a party. A week long party, too.

As for Sullivan, what can be said for that poor, deluded fellow. I believe he thinks he made some sort of sacrifice for this unjustified and absurd war and therefore is justified in saying "we".

But then, neither the American people nor Sullivan ever had to make any real sacrifice for the Iraq war, despite being told we would have to by Bush (in his attempt to coopt support). I haven't sacrificed anything, though my reputation as an American was sacrificed for me by Bush and his fellow liars, who have made the country look like crap in the eyes of the world.

Have fun in Ptown, Sullivan.

The sad thing is my husband believes all that crap, now, too. He thinks I'm the deluded one! I'm at my wit's end. He's a great guy, and he hates the Patriot Act. But now he's swearing Kerry is bad for the US. Any Ideas?
