Yup...Yeah, Boy! He's a winner...not

Preznit Incoherent Idiot was in the terra-tory of my fellow Rocky Top Brigaders yesterday...and he's still trying to avoid that the most obvious threat Iraq represented to Americans was the Death of over 800 of them at the hands of the 1600 Crew.

President Bush asserted Monday that the war against Iraq has made America safer as he sought to counteract the findings in a Senate report late last week that the U.S. intelligence community distorted and exaggerated the weapons threat posed by former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein.
...
...A new Washington Post poll found that 45 percent of the public believes the war was worth fighting, compared with 49 percent in May and 57 percent a year ago.
Well, if you're pathologically incapable of telling the truth, then it's best to follow the Goebbles Doctrine...lie your ass off and hope the True Believers will sustain you. Knowing that there are Brownshirt Contingents willing to support him, Preznit Fails at Everything can be assured that he'll never see or hear dissent. Wanna bet that in some Presidential Debate our Great National Embarrasment tells John Kerry that he's "seen no signs of dissent" from his policies among the 'Murikan People'...like he's actually had more than a photo op with any.

Proof that Preznit Opium Dreams is smokin' the Poppy:

"We are defending the peace by taking the fight to the enemy," Bush said in a subtle reformulation of the idea of "preemption" that has been a centerpiece of his foreign policy since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. "We have followed this strategy -- defending the peace, protecting the peace and extending the peace -- for nearly three years. We have been focused and patient, firm and consistent."

Bush said the administration's policies have not only benefited Iraq but also sowed positive change in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Libya. As a result, he said, "the American people are safer" -- a refrain he used seven times in a 32-minute speech.

I guess his corporate and religious masters are still paying the bills at Stupid republican Speechwriters, Inc. If anyone believes that Preznit No Job Ever Done Right has succeeded in any aspect of foreign policy, please raise your hands now...ahhh, thought so.

Comments:

I'm confused about a couple of things. One, who exactly is the enemy--the Iraqi people who were happy to be liberated by us, and are now our allies? Are they the enemy? Two, if Americans are safer now, why are Americans leaving Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and other places around the globe? If Americans are safer now, why are we spending billions of dollars on "homeland security"? Can the president suggest one objective, verifiable measure that shows Americans are safer now?

According to the CNN non-scientific poll, 73% of Americans do NOT think the Iraq war has made us any safer from terror. 27% of Americans are just morons.

Well now, if we are so much safer, why is asswipe ridge saying there is a chance of a terrorist to disturb the electin? I mean after all, did'nt we take the fight to them? (NOT) Also as far as ridge goes, he totally fudged up Pa., and he has'nt lost a step as being aa asslicker for bush and cheney, and the rest of the cabal. And I watched old condi last evening, and she say's no one told her about this alert. I think her and coulter ought to get together. 2 skinny and ugly broads, they can get married, which would be ok for them, and then we could have all the lie's at once.

While there is yet a dollar to be extracted from the American taxpayer, while there is yet a dollar to be spent on some buddy's corporation that can be obtained by borrowing from the Chinese Central Bank (which is how we are financing the Bush deficit), they will be fighting to stay in office.

The way I see it, this crowd of thieves and liars came into office with the sole purpose of robbing the Treasury. Not a one of them gives a damn about the United States. Any concern they have for the US is a sham. They want the money. All of it. They care nothing for anyone who is not stinking filthy rich and they are out to rob the last nickel from the Grandma Millies and Grandpa Freds and everyone else in the country.

Aw, Jo, tell us what you REALLY think. You're just too coy and polite-like.

There was a jet "crash" a month after 9-11. There were anthrax and ricin attacks upon Congressmen.

Three major refinery fires the week a terror warning went out over such.

People have been caught entering illegally, flying across country.

Mexico is "helping" so much they've refused extradition of a known cop killer twice deported for drugs smuggling, a R talked about it on the House floor...

Bin Laden announced his "truce" was over supposedly. If he is seen on Al Jazeera it would be damning. Surely it is someone else "acting" as a spokesperson.

Richard Clarke said it best- Al Qaeda has morphed, changed names, some techniques, and diversified.

The entire cease-fire they were doing dry runs timing techniques and trailing one another to check on detection. It's gotten to the point they use countersurveillance in Saudi penninsula.

It's going to get worse. Who will be the Madrid? Say Indonesia since it had a Muslim election that was peaceable. Or Pakistan who is being offered a lot of money in the latest appropriation, and they want osama so badly.

Remember how the 43 Mill sent to the Taliban before 9-11 by Colin bit our ass?

The National Parks chief was fired over criticising Bush for failure to fund homeland security to guard landmarks. She was especially critical about securing NYC.

As McArthur would say- "Situation Normal-All cheney'd up".
