From the Lying Cheney (that other word, really) Department

Yeah, Saddam was a bad man. I guess his credit report must have gone south on him, because apparently there was no other compelling reason in our National Interest to invade Iraq other than perhaps non-payment of CheneyBurton invoices or something.

One week after the terrorist attacks on New York and the Pentagon, White House counterterrorism director Paul Kurtz wrote in a memo to national security adviser Condoleezza Rice that no "compelling case" existed for Iraq's involvement in the attacks and that links between al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein's government were weak.

Not only did Osama bin Laden resent the Iraqi government's secularism, Kurtz's classified memo stated, but there was no confirmed information about collaboration between them on weapons of mass destruction.
...
Four days later, when Bush convened a seminal meeting of his senior advisers at Camp David to decide retaliatory steps, the Defense Department submitted a paper that depicted Iraq, the Taliban and al Qaeda as priority targets in the first stage of action, the commission states. Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul D. Wolfowitz and Undersecretary of Defense Douglas J. Feith argued in three memos for Rumsfeld in subsequent days why Iraq should be hit, the report discloses.

The memos -- including one dated Sept. 18 and titled "Were We Asleep?" -- listed alleged ties between al Qaeda and Iraq that the commission report debunks, such as a theory that Ramzi Yousef, an al Qaeda-affiliated bomber convicted of masterminding the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, was an Iraqi agent.

There are now over 900 American Servicemen and Women who have given their lives for that bullshittery. Their blood will forever be on the hands of Mssrs. Wolfowitz, Feith, Perle, Rumsfeld and of course KindaLiar, VP Fuck and Preznit FatAss Coward.

I will always choose to defend America. I would never try to defend these miserable fuckwits.

Comments:

It has been pointed out that of the Axis of Evil members, the most evil was North Korea, next was Iran and then in last place Iraq. Bush Jr., typical of most bullies, picked on the weakest one because it would also be the easiest. But the cost of conquest indicated that had Bush Jr. gone after North Korea or Iran, the outcome could have been much worse. Meantime, North Korea and Iran continue as major threats; but out troops are spread too thin.

Near as I can tell, the relationship between Iraq and Al Qaida is roughly the same as the relationship between Wendy's and Burger King. They know of each other, and they'd both like to see McDonald's bumped off, but they're not working together.

Great comparison TG.

This is part of the strategic Saudi objectives. Now that they've hijacked Iraq's oil via third party subcontractor Cheneyburton.

We have an excuse to start sanctions/embargo of Iran now! See how well the oil-for-food worked for Condie?

We're rent-a-cops for the hous of Saud. GTFO the mideast.

We have the technology to make fully electric cars(available now) a solid market reality within 5 years. It has been usable since the mid-90s. They needed to keep Clenis scandals going so we couldn't get renewable energy and health care fixed with the surplus.

Cancer wards are thankful for this. Well the companies that supply them are anyways...and the cost of everything has doubled thanks to Bushco's oil efforts.

Bet anything the strategic reserve will be hit for the terra attack. That way they can hide the Bushco audit. Condie paying herself with exxon-chevron and probably selling the same gas (paid for) for complete profit.

That anyone even asks an idiot preznit who cannot handle a record surplus to manage the reserves is signs of compliance.

None of this matters of course, because the real reason that Bush went to Iraq was to bring democracy. He deeply aplogizies to the 11,000 innocent men, women, and children he killed that won't be around to enjoy it.
I know for a fact that there's a connection between al quida and McDonalds, Sandy Berger stuffed the proof down his pants. Just ask InstaCracker.

According to the F911 movie, it was all really about an oil pipeline.

Would like to hear more about practical electric cars.

Also, last night my best friend and his wife (she always hated Bush) saw F911. He was going to vote for Bush in spite of me trying to talk him into Kerry. He had other friends pushing Bush on him. He now hates Bush and not only wants to vote for Kerry, but work actively to defeat Bush. Thank you Michael Moore, but thank me too because I have been working on him for six months. I got one. If we all just get one, just one, we can create a Kerry landslide. I'm going for two now. I have to shore up the first one, make sure he doesn't backslide. but I have to get another one. It's like fishing. You catch one, you get a big rush. But then you want another one.

Meanwhile whilst Blair jets off on holidays, sacks a Government employee for speaking his mind on Panorama, is sending 25 million 16 page booklets to every home in the UK on how to deal with a terrorist attack, Rupert Murdoch on Sky One is running a new series next week called "Terror Alert".

WTG Wally!

Believe I've posted it here before. When CSpan's boss mentioned the company GH Venture Partners I posted their site on a football site and one of their moderators is a NJ area Republican...

It must have hit a nerve the company pulled the link, but I pasted a lot of it at my dKos diary...http://mr-murder.dailykos.com/

It connects the dots of the Mike Moore movie. He did not have time to do so, showing what this war is doing to the people was the focus of his film. He made a lot of people think about how the support of Bush has put ours in a bind. No soldier, sailor, marine, pilot should be asked to do so much.
