What he said--

James Carville, as noted, no paragon of restraint (that can be said for moi as well) went to a Veterans for Kerry event and laid it out:

Let me tell you something...." Pause for maximum effect. "It'll probably get out there, but what the hell...." Pause for comedic timing.... Glance at the dozens of cameras and journalists standing in the back of the ballroom.... "It'll probably get out there, but what the hell: John Kerry is just a better man than George W. Bush."
Fuckin'-A Right.

I wonder when the republican manufactured-outrage machine will be demanding the tapes...

Hell, my grandma's a better man than Bush.

Well put molly. The granny running for a legislative seat is also!

Carville is a man among dwarfs in this ridiculous Orwellian nightmare.

Carville scares them. They won't say "boo" about it because they know Carville will slice them up into ribbons with his wit and his wisdom. They don't have anyone on their side who can match him. Limbaugh? He'd make Limbaugh look like a moron to his FANS. Carville scares them.

And I have news for you. I scraped some road tar off my fender this morning. That road tar is a better man than George Bush. And it never fell off its bike, either.

I often think that my three legged cat, Roger is a better man than the Crawford Coward.

This is not a meme that will catch on: most people are well aware that Dubya is an asshole, and those who think he is somehow "a good man" (there really are millions besides Sully-- its hard to believe, but I assure you its true) are irredeemable-- so let's ignore them.

Most people don't need to be told-- they already KNOW Dubya is a prick-headed, smarmy, momma's-boy, silver-spoon, draft-evading, AWOL, coke-fiend, drunkard, lying, never-did-anything-productive-in-his-life, ungrateful after being handed everything by Daddy's friends, little smirking shit. (And he KEEPS falling off bicycles! Bad enough the guy with the ranch can't ride a horse-- he can't ride A BICYCLE!)

BUT-- the question is, in this atmosphere of existential fear and discomfort that he has generated for nearly 3 years now, have enough people been sufficiently psychically and cognitively weakened to believe that only the little shit (who was on vacation when we were attacked the first time) can protect us-- that somehow the war hero guy really isn't "man enough" for the job. THAT is what we have to worry about. And its pretty serious.

Ok, I need advice. The Hubby doesn't like W, but for some bizarre reason, hates Kerry.
Is there anything I can do, or say or show him that might bring him around?

If Mr. Not Together can't vote for what is best for our country despite what all has happened the past 3 years, Ask him to vote for our soldiers. Too many of our troops over in the Sandbox will be denied the right to vote. They deserve a good CINC compared to what they have had the past 3 years. Ask him to vote for them! Over 800 dead in a war based upon Bush's lies...how many more?
