Blogging from a really nice bookstore here in the Green Mountain State...wish I could stay. Nice place....mellow, music, coffee...what more could a commie pinko liberal like me want?

Funny how many people in the rest of the country think of New England as up-tight, stingy and cold. Enjoy your stay. I'll have to add your scene to my personal list of ideas of paradise: a cozy Vermont bookstore with good company and soul-enlarging places to walk outside. Other ideas on my paradise list are based in Massachusetts (where I currently live), my home state (Texas), in California, in southern Illinois, and many other places I love, all in different ways. Thanks for telling about your Vermont bookstore.
