I thought it was a crime to alter government records, but apparently it's alright if you're a Bush. If you look at Bush's USAF Reserve Personnel Record card it's very obvious that the card has been altered. Bush received 9 points according to the ARF Statement of Points Earned for the period of Oct. 72 to May 73. He then would have received 2 points for UTA training for a total of 11 points. On the personnel record card, you see in the column for points earned a "9" in the column for the extra points for UTA training you'll see a "32" but if you look closely at the card, it is apparent that someone added a "3" in front of the "2". The far right column of total points is "41" but again, looking closely at the card, it has been altered from "11" to "41".
Check it out, you'll see what I mean.
As to Bush's discharge from the guard, if you look at the discharge papers, what's amazing isn't how Bush got into the guard, but how he got out. How many guardsmen do you know who have the governor of the state and the CinC of the TANG CALL the commander of the TANG and order that someone be released from guard duty? That's exactly what the document says: "verbal orders of the CinC", the Cinc is the governor. The order to discharge Bush came from the Govenor's office.

Bev is onto something. perhaps it explains why AWOL got weekendcredit for drills on calendar weekdays as well... on his "made up" days.
Bush put the Made in Made up...

I'm a voice crying in the wilderness...LOOK at the two documents, PLEASE. They're so damned quick to cry "forgery" it may be more of their projection.

Forged documents sent sons and daughters off to war.

Moral equivolencey time.

Because AWOL skipped out and the documents are real but people who are not the person who made them (Killian) said otherwise, then it is obviously not AWOL's fault his entire staff and cabinet lied about reasons for war.

Hey I got new for ya- no forgery this time- Colin Powell says there are NO WMD in Oilraq!

How 'bout:

Kerry's arm bled from Viet Cong bullets, while Bush's Nose bled from South American Coke?

I'm retired AF with 5 years prior Army (tank driver for 2 years, infantry for 3). I retired as an Aerospace Medicine Squadron Superintendent. That means, amoung other jobs, I was the senior enlisted in charge of the enlisted folks who perform the flight physicals. Now, I don't know what the 1972-73 era regulation requirements for getting a Flying Class II physical (for current flight personnel) were in regard to pilots who had expired flight physicals, BUT any pilot today would simply need to reschedule, show up for, and pass an exam to get put back on flying status. Why on Earth would Bush not simply reschedule to get put back on flying status? (Hmmm, DRUGS? Naaaaaaahhhh). And notice how he NEVER gives us any convincing specific details about the base or anyone in particulair in the Alabama ANG. Hell, I can remember details going back farther than the mid 60s about many things and so can you. You'd think Rove would at least show dumbass a couple of pictures of the front gate, the hangar, the flightline, at least the Officer's Club... so he could recall for public consumption.
