The Imminent Balsa-wood gliders of death, cont'd

When David Kay left as the Weapons Inspection Kahuna, Preznit Dime Bag hired some guy named Charles Duelfer...I remember because it sounded like he was calling him Doo-fer everytime he talked about him. Anyway, ol' Chucky is about ready to release his final report on the Bad Man's Aresnal of Imminent Destruction. Guess what? Some day Saddam was gonna...which sort of goes to the old "woulda, shoulda, coulda" thing, I think.

Drafts of a report from the top U.S. inspector in Iraq conclude there were no weapons stockpiles, but say there are signs the fallen Iraqi President Saddam Hussein had dormant programs he hoped to revive at a later time, according to people familiar with the findings.
...
Duelfer also says Iraq only had small research and development programs for chemical and biological weapons.
...
After a year and a half in Iraq, however, the United States has found no weapons of mass destruction — its chief argument for overthrowing the regime.
Now, which part of "Bush Lied" are the wingnuts not understanding? Intent is not action, because as I said before, you know, I intend to win the Powerball this weekend. Here's a little practical excercise in that principle for all the Neocons: Wish in One Hand, and Shit in the Other. Report the results to the families and servicemen and women affected by your absolute knowledge of all the answers to all the questions before March of last year.

Comments:

And, after all, Saddam could have avoided invasion and occupation if he'd only let the inspectors in and turned in his WMDs.

I've been hearing news reports that make it sound like Hussein had a real program. Instead, when you look carefully, it says he had small labs somewhere that maybe might have been turned into labs capable of producing WMDs at some time. Well, I'm in favor of renewable resource energy, and every time I take a crap there's a possibility I could use my feces to make methane and run my stove, but that ain't a gonna happen.

Why hasn't anyone stated the obvious?

The real reason this administration is so confident about the connection between Hussein and Bin Ladin? THEY BOTH WORKED FOR THE CIA!!!

WMD's? We sold WMD's to IRAQ to be used against IRAN.

Reasons for war? Dubya's family Oil interests in Kuwait were right-angle drilling into the Iraqi oil fields when Saddam caught them. His father failed to complete the mission of total Iraqi domination so Dubya is trying to finish the job that Daddy screwed up.

On another note: Does anyone see the resemblance between John Kerry and the portrait of Jackson on the $20 bill?

Bush Sr could not invade- the Arab nations would have outed his oil ties at the time.

The media ignored it anyways. SOn Marvin Bush and James baker's former ass't Sec of State Marge Tutwiler would like to thank them.

So much that Marge is the VP of the NYSE these days.

WHich telecomm stock wants someone to estimate their value down even a smidgeon?
Thought so.

Time-warner? NBC? CBS?

Rather is the only one even halfway courageous. He did a lot of stories inserted with Afghans in the soviet wars, suppose he could hook up Osama another interview since he traveled with their ground to air missiles?

Danny forgot where he came from, covering the Warren Commission and all.You are supposed to take the oil lobby points and stand by them!

The magic bullet is after him now, complete with death threats from freeps and political partisans calling for his head.

You played by their rules for so long, too bad. Brokaw (who ascends NBC after their anchor Chancellor had a staffer misrun a teleprompter for a hyped up 'outrage', and who now does jokes about ducks- in NYC a vague reference at the showercurtain sleepover spot for Perle and Cheney and 'Sweet Judy Blue Lies' Miller).
Jennings (another Warren commission face job, one without citizenship who had a vested interest in not seeing his visa revoked).

The Texan in Rather is calling the bluff. Make us a fan once more Dan. Fight the right for what's right like you first believed was possible to do... make Murrow and Cronkite proud before the sagely elder statesman passes.

Otherwise just take you check, pipe the phrase "progress in Oilraq", "turning the corner" ,(away from truth street at Pennsylvania Ave. to a side alley of lies and a backdoor inauguration), and "compassionate conservatism" full of missing limbs and lost lives and dreams taller than towers taken down by a bloodthirsty liar who didn't win the popular vote.

Can't endorse the check to cash it? Some people can provide one that features their blood and the stingy excuse for preparedness the press and government sent them to shed for.

Not to mention the tax cut this helped enable. Kickbacks before comebacks, GI Joes and Janes can do without if it means less for the rich.
