Bring out the popcorn for the big show tonight...It's gonna be a doozy. Since the townhall format questions are supposed to focus on 'domestic' issues, it'll be interesting to see how many of the questions stick to the format. With the restrictive screening and rules, probably a good number will. So I can't wait to see how many lies per second Preznit Job Destroyer tells.
Companies added 96,000 jobs to their payrolls in September, fewer than economists forecast for the last employment report before Election Day. The figures underscored the modest hiring pace that has become an issue in President Bush's re-election bid.
...
With the new report, Bush will head into next month's election with a jobs deficit. Though 1.8 million jobs have been added to business payrolls in the past year, there are 821,000 fewer nonfarm jobs in the country than when Bush took office in January 2001.
I hope that Fearless Leader doesn't cry when confronted with this bad news...actually, I hope he does. It's all the rage for spoiled fratboy cowards to do when they don't get their way.
Hey, with the jobs report I'll bet he'll talk about "hard work" and "working hard".
Best question of the night: How many times have you been arrested? It would be so sweet to hear that. Probably not too productive, but pretty sweet.

Ya know, I have never been arrested. Not once. Had a few speeding tickets, but the last one of those was about ten years ago.
I think we might, just might, see a big meltdown from Bush tonight. He'll have to face real people, strangers, questioning him. None of the questions will be tough ones, I am sure, because I have a feeling they will all have been pre-screened. haven't read the rules, but I can't see the Bushistas allowing unscreened questions.
The beady eyed, smirking chimp would do well to call in sick for this battle... just like he did for Vietnam. I hope Senator Kerry asks poop for brains if he's aware that Dwight D. Eisenhower's son is supporting the Democrats for the first time in his life. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/30/politics/main646482.shtml.
It would also be great if Big John made the twerp explain how his VP, Penis Head, gets away with lying about Halliburton’s illegal dealings with Iran and Libya while President Clinton was nearly impeached for confusing Cunnilingus and Copulation (Hey John, make him say "cunnilingus". ROFL!)
Vietnam Vets support JFK.
Don't let the Republican Fascists assassinate another American hero!
i just hope the boy blunder is wearing depends this evening, he's going to need them. where is the ghost in the clouds when he needs him?

I just wonder how many of the ordinary people let into the room will have to sign the loyalty oath? Will JFK?

Even with it being about domestic issues, Kerry can hit Bush over Iraq/9-11 stuff by talking about underfunded port security; underfunded communications upgrades for 1st responders (recall police & fire personnel couldn't communicate well on 9-11); lies about air safety in NYC after 9-11; energy policy secret meetings with Cheney where maps of Iraqi oilfields & pipelines were studied -- BEFORE the invasion...
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Bush kicked that lying SOBs pansy, french-looking ass.

Sorry, Big Al, only if you're impressed by a strutting peacock. I'm sure Bush sounded fine to his base, but he never really said anything of real substence. In any argument, just because a person is loud, forceful or clever never makes them in the right. Hitler proved that point! I think Kerry showed he can keep his cool and the American people will note that. Bush has handled Iraq badly (do you think he'll fly in for Thanksgiving this year?). It's funny watching an extremist call someone else an extremist!
bush made joke lines for his base, waited for the laughter and when it didn't come seemed confused. Kerry won on points. bush lost on style, bad style.

Kerry won on content and style. He's grown into the style of an Executive, his resume is overqualified for Chief Executive.
It was a matter of winning others over and speaking from a position of authority instead of as an equal. Kerry still remembers how to work with others as an equal but can recognize executive authority, that is something one could note as the race went on.
He is ready to lead, and reporting for duty!
