Hey! I thought Howard Dean was too angry to be president?

Well, this morning's reports on the cable news channels call the debate a tie, despite a small Kerry margin. Fox ... surprise, surprise ... calls it for Bush.

It is hard to break through denial, delusion and falsehood.

Kerry presented himself as "presidential"; he appears firm, articulate and informed. Bush seems arrogant, stubborn, shrill and resentful of the requirement to participate in the debate.

In the end, when linked to his shaky performance last week, tonight's debate damages Bush's credibility with those who are not fixed in either camp.

What was the deal with the Shrubs facial tics? Teeth-grinding, popping his jaw sideways, the seemingly uncontrolled winking?? I mean, I know what I'VE been doing when my teeth are grinding and my jaw is popping. Never had the uncontrollable winks tho. You KNOW he gets the best stuff too.

Glad to see someone else noted the Kennedy parapraxis. It was right up there with his attempt to do "I’m paying for this microphone, Mr. Breen!” on Charles Gibson.

Someone had a good line in a comment thread elsewhere (sorry, can't remember which blog) - "Bush is violence personified."
His temper is truly frightening.

Did you see Bush yelling when he was asked about reinstating the draft? He was hollering at those people. "We will not reinstate the draft! We will not reinstate the draft! Ve vill march on a road of bones and this reich vill last for a thousand years!"

I thought he was gonna kick the kid who asked the question. I expected the kid to say, "Allright, dude I get it. No draft. Chill out."

Another thing that bothers me is that the first thing Bush mentioned about managing OUR forest is 'harvesting.'

Here's the thing about the draft: If your cause is just, you're not afraid to ask for a draft.

Yeah, but given the Iraq fiasco, would you trust your kid to this administration's draft?

That's my point exactly, G.D.

Bush is absolutely frightening! I am convinced that he has organic brain damage from his history as a drug and alcohol abuser. He just has too many signs of brain damage. (Impulsive, easily angered, aphasia...need I say more!)

AWOL Bushco. They are cutting trees at out local WMA that have over 136 rings in them. What kind of undergrowth is it that nests a resurgent Bald Eagle population(Thanks President Carter for saving them :) ) ???

Also the trees here are not even seen in the region anymore, drainage and levees have limited the kind of swamplike settings they need to thrive. The same birds who nest here brought those seeds with them eons ago.

Bush doesn't give a shit about diversity. Never did. Not even that of our wildlife, something that should remain for every generation to enjoy. No continuance whatsoever with the Bush thugs.

The circle is 'not unbroken' if Bushco has its way...
