Mr. Bush's second term should be an opportunity to start fresh. ... He might have troubled himself to offer a single conciliatory word.
Have they not been paying any attention for the last four years? Are they on some other planet, or perhaps in a different dimensional reality?
Or are they just as stupid as they sound? Don't they know yet that his mosquito intellect is only overshadowed by his elephant ego?

YES. Yes, the Post editorial board is that stupid. This is the same paper that refuses to admit that Bush snowed them on the WMD issue. They supported the war up to and through entire operation. They refuse to identify the source of the problem and think that the Bush administration must follow a logical and sound policy plan, because, well, he's the President!
I read the Post because it usually has good articles, and I refuse to buy the Wash Times, USA Today, or read "online," but I have had it with their editorial page. Just really stupid comments.
preznit yale disaster does not know what conciliatory means and cannot spell it. perhaps the post can look into this disturbing fact as soon as they finish licking his ass.

My two favorites (from Bush endorsements in late October):
Houston Chronicle: "The Chronicle believes Bush, if granted a second term and freed of the need to appeal to the extreme factions of his party, will regain his bipartisan effectiveness at solving problems."
Austin American-Statesman: "We do not make this endorsement lightly or without reservation, and we ask that the president return our faith by acknowledging his failures and acting to correct them."
Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! They don't call editorial boards stupid for nothin'!

Bush learned from Daddy's failures. He played Jeebus much more effectively.
Would be nice if AWOL could quote scripture correctly. Without reading it off a sheet. Like he actually reads/memorizes it.
Then again just because he shows insincerity doesn't mean the kool aid tastes any less powerful. Beer flavored kool-aid, in honor of AWOL. It's why he had to take three days to say anything about the Tsunami. He was already raging drunk , having celebrated pulling the wool over sheeple's eyes...
