The iPod Lists

From the boys at Pandagon doing the iPod shuffle, here's my iList of the first 10 on shuffle from my main playlist.

Pink Houses - John Mellencamp
Life's Been Good - Joe Walsh
Wavelength - Van Morrison
Scar Tissue - Chili Peppers
I am Yours - Derek and the Dominos
She's the One - Springsteen
Green Book - Steely Dan
Fire in the Hole - Steely Dan
Slide - Goo Goo Dolls
Rock and Roll - Led Zeppelin

That silly iPod was the best anniversary present I ever got. Yeah, yeah so it's mostly "classic rock", shoot me.

Geez, I've read I don't know how many of these and feel like a dumb shit because I know none of it. Finally music I recognize!

Got to get an iPod soon. I've got about 9.1 GB of music in iTunes on my hard drive.

Clear Channel rotations without the profits going to RNC. God's gift to good music!

"mostly classic rock" maybe - but the Goo Goo Dolls and the Chili Peppers are a great break from predictable stuff.

How old do you have to be to have no tunes on the hard disc? It's just CD's for me. The satellite stations sound interesting though. Some of them have really decent mixes.

Man, I don't have one. Don't expect to get one either. I used to d/l songs off a sat link, but that turned into a nightmare, so I just stopped.

Probally comes from - at least I suspect anyways, being a musician for about 40 years. I play primarily blugrass and old time anymore, but I enjoy all music.

I've got Sirius on my TV through Dish - they have really good playlists. I'm planning on getting it for the truck in the spring - with the kit to go anywhere. Commercial radio sucks ass.

Jo,
You should check out this Net Radio Station for some great listening.

KZRO FM from Mt. Shasta, CA. I have yet to find a better selection of "pure" classic rock tunes. I might suggest some cuts from The Who/Live at Leeds, or perhaps, Jimi Hendrix/Rainbow Bridge. What the hell... just download the whole Woodstock Album!

The Goo Goo Dolls aren't a break from anything predictable. Slide is good, but you're not listening to any sort of musical renassiance.

Throw in some classic punk (Clash), jazz, current punk (mostly Flogging Molly, maybe some Bad Religion), and you've got my playlist!
