New Addition

A few weeks ago I said I was sick of listening to the wingnut legions who want to portray us as UnAmerican, because we know Preznit Coke Addled is a fool, and we refuse to bow down to him and his minions. So I've decided that we need a new part of the Fish Pond, dedicated to any wingnut/conservative/republican pundit who will be putting aside their lives for a year or four by joining up to go to Iraq or Afghanistan and walk a post.

They'll get their name in the "Hall of Fame" and I vow not to pick on them henceforth, because they have put their money where their mouths are.

Jonah Goldberg, we're looking at you....c'mon, step out from behind the wimmin-folks skirts and be a man...other possible candidates: Doug Giles, Bill Hobbs, Glenn Reynolds...you get the picture, the list is endless...

Somehow I think that the list will be forever empty, but let's give a while and see...

Comments:

Maybe we should take up a collection for a few sets of 'bumper nuts' - that The General is hawking over at his site.

That way, theres additional incentive for the no-balls-101st fighting keyboard brigade to get a pair.

Free.

*Offer redeemable only upon satisfactory completion of basic training and/or OCS, and completion of 1(one) tour of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan.*

Heck, I'd settle for a few right-wing pundits who've seen combat of any kind.

It almost makes you wish the draft would be reinstated, just so we could see Limbaugh, Savage, Hannity (and we'll him together with his enabler Colmes), even Malkin and Coulter (it's the modern army after all) being drafted.

Well, I'm sure if they knew that they are featured prominantly in the "Chickenhwk Hall of Fame" they would realise how hypocritcal they have been and join up straight away. But the Chickenhawk Hall of Fame will likely be their legacy and contribution to the country.

Joe,

I thin you'll see a snowball in Hades before you see a "white feathered" wingnut sign up to help the rest of us "real" patriots.

What is FAR more likely to happen is a recall of veterans and retirees. Most of those you've identified are old enough to escape being forced to do the right thing.

Unfortuanately, it appears words speak louder than actions in the case of the chickenhawks.
