Being Human, (as opposed to what, Human Being?), I like to check to see where my referrals come from...and I found this little gem of a blog. I kind of like it...but I have no idea who Jenny Slater is.

djhlights has it. In the movie Jeremy Priven's character has an unrequited crush on Jenny Slater in high school. At their reunion, he remembers her, and says "hey Jenny Slater", which she promply ignores. To Jeremy's character this a denial of his achievements since high school and the fact that despite time and material success he's still not the kind of guy she would date. Kind of a universal truth for those of us that had crushes on cheerleader/prom queen types that only dated team captains or rich kids. In the movie Jeremy does win her over in the end offering hope for all us mere mortals. Though the other side of the coin is that Jenny Slater is as shallow as she is beautiful, so be careful what you wish for.
