Dick, and I use that term perjoratively, Cheney says that all the bad things being said about GITMO are just whining and hot air from disgruntled ex-detainees. Yeah.

It always amazed me that the pictures of Cheney holding babies never showed what he probably did with them after the photo-op...most politicians kiss'em and hand'em back to mom (or dad). Cheney, probably had a secret service guy with a bag who took the kid for later consumption in the limo by Darth Dick himself...wotta guy.

Cheney is the real power in BushCo., but he has been at "up is down, day is night" Mach 2 here lately.
W is basically clueless and wants to keep it that way -- whether he believes his own BS or not doesn't much matter. It's still stinkin' up the place.
Trust me, Jo. Dick ain't the only one trotting out the War on Terra spiel. I got relatives doing the same thing. Couple that with the "if we don't fight them there, we'll be fighting them here" excuse, that's about all they need. Nevermind the smoking gun known as the Downing Street Minutes. I had one conservative blogger comment that the smoking gun is .177 caliber and propelled by CO2. Guess he hasn't read the memos yet.
