Wonderin'

John (Birch) Bolton and his moustache got defeated (again) for a vote to the UN. Preznit Ding-Dong makes a recess appointment, as he's extremely likely to do.

US goes to the UN for help with the Mess in Mesopotamia as many are now postulating as a possible exit strategy.

What UN?

Hmmm.

Comments:

Bolton had a minimal chance of being effective if the Senate had confirmed him. As a recess appointee everyone will know that he lacks the backing of the government for anything he proposes. He's a missile without a warhead.

Actually, Bolton's prime chore is to destroy the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty that is pending. That's up for continuing discussion, and our "rational" Democracy, where "freedom is on the march" wants to be able to use small, earth-burrowing nuke-tipped missles and bombs as bunker busters, since there are indications that NK and Iran have moved some of their nuclear facilities underground.

It makes me so proud to be a citizen of the only country in the world that PLANS to use nuclear weapons. All those other sissies just fear they might have to, someday.
