Add: The Democratic Party pledges that our first task will be for the protection of our troops, making it priority #1 in defense funding. We will rollback tax cuts to the wealthy and reroute it to purchasing equipment designed to protect the lives and health of the women and men of our armed forces. Add: The Democratic Party will restore all funding, plus a very significant increase, to programs that support our nations veterans, fullfilling the nation's obligation to our veterans. We will rollback more tax cuts to the nation's wealthy to ensure that our nation's veterans have the assistance they need to live full productive lives.
