I visited Camp LeJeune last weekend to say farewell to my son (Williams College, '98; UCONN Law School, '02)who's leaving for Iraq on Monday morning. All the Marines and Sailors I met there were either coming from or heading out to their deployments and all of them were 100% dedicated to the task at hand. Whether you support the war or whether you don't, if you meet a few of the Americans who are serving our country in the military, it makes you realize that one million VBen's don't equal the sweat off one Marine's ass. Sorry, VBen, but while you and you and your rightwing cohorts employ the thinnest of disguises and multiply reasons to keep you at home, while those of you who think the war is a great idea as long my son serves "your" country in it, well, son, you just don't amount to a jigger of lukewarm pus.
