Yup, the hits just keep on coming. Hoosiers...you have have a Delay Corruption Baby, named Chris Chocola. Gee, is that a lawmaker or a breakfast cereal? Well, it seems your Chocola could count on donations from Tommy-boy to reassure you Hoosiers that no one would take away your guns. Like there's any danger of that anytime soon.
Tom DeLay's political group used nearly $100,000 in corporate and unlimited donations to mail last-minute political appeals praising five congressional candidates despite rules meant to keep such money out of federal races, documents released Thursday show.
...
They show DeLay's ARMPAC sent money from its so-called soft-money account before the November 2002 election to pay for mailings for such candidates as Indiana Republican Chris Chocola, who won election to the House that year.
An ARMPAC mailing to gun-owning voters in Chocola's race for an open congressional seat praised him as someone who "will protect the sporting traditions that Indiana sportsmen have passed on. For future generations to continue to enjoy our heritage, we need the leadership of Chris Chocola."
The "leadership of Chris Chocola" is actually indentured servitude to Americas Most Corrupt Politician. Which means that Indiana (2), your congressman is Tom Delay's bitch. In fact here's a list of all Tom's bitches. Ho's every one, except for perhaps Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, whose numbers are negative. A principled conservative? That would be nice...
And I'm sure you've all seen the Godfather, right? Make sure you know where all the horses are.

Fredo [Chocola]: It ain't the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I'm smart! Not like everybody says... like dumb... I'm smart and I want respect!
Michael [Delay]: Fredo, you're nothing to me now. You're not a brother, you're not a friend. I don't want to know you or what you do. I don't want to see you at the hotels, I don't want you near my house.
I am soooooo shocked to see my rep Thelma Drake on that list.
Thelma is one of Virginia's fine upstanding elected congress people (Senators John Warner and George Allen also among them) who voted to give Pat Robertson a $11 million exit off I-64 so more people could get to his 700 Club shopping mall.
The DumpMike.com web site has been all over Congressman Mike Ferguson's (R-NJ 7th) service to Delay. Ferguson actually does very little at all for his district except vote however Delay tells him to.
