Am I missing something? There's no mea culpa here for the completely illogical boot-licking he's performed for these criminals over the last 6 years. And it seems to me that he was an eager disciple in the "divide and conquer" school of political mastery.
Word, Lurch. Just about everything Sullivan writes is an apparent unconscious projection of his own condition.
What the hell does it mean to be "skeptical" of Cheney and Rumsfeld but to continue to support the "noble cause"? Rhetorical bullshit that allows Sully to object to the way the war was launched and fought but not the war itself -- as if the war could have been launched more nobly if the truth had been disclosed. What a moron.
