"HUME: Let me get your thoughts, Mr. President, on -- on how you think or hope you'll be remembered.
"BUSH: You mean, just kind of a blanket statement?
"HUME: Yes.
"BUSH: I hope that first, as a person, I'll be remembered as a fellow who had his priorities straight: his faith, his family and his friends are a central part of his life.
"Secondly, I hope to be remembered, from a personal perspective, as a fellow who had lived life to the fullest and gave it his all. And thirdly, I'd like to be remembered as the president who used American influence for the good of the world: bastioning freedom and fighting disease and poverty, by recognizing to whom much is given, much is required and that -- that I wasn't afraid to make a decision."
Bastioning freedom? WTF does that mean.
He'll certainly be remembered as one of the only presidents to reward incompetance and criminal behavior by promotion and a greater role in public policy. So, he's got that going for him in the eyes of history..oh, and his strategeric thinking.

Ah, the way yella stripe tells it, it's a fairy tale that could have been written by some very grim brothers...a humble texas boy who grows up to become his nation's 'leading citizen' yet, so modest and reserved, with a great interest in fighting poverty and disease... When will the wicked witch preznit we have now be banished by heroic people who will finally end the thrall the current wicked witch preznit holds us in?

Jo: I think he meant "bastardizing" freedom. Judgivating just on observating him for the last 6 years he seems to have some purty pecularous conceptualizations about the subject.
WTF!?!?
George Herbert Walker and Babs are responsible for this jackass'es perception of the world.
Hopefully one day the history books get it right and it is shameful to be even associated with bush.

Many of us are looking forward to the day he'll be just a memory...
Jeebus H. on fucking burnt toast. Do they make drugs that will help you forget this motherfucker yet??? I really don't want to remember this piece of shit. I want to remember him about as bad as a case of the Clap, where my dick shriveled up, rotted and fell off like an umbilical cord.
And, thats just for starters. Wait until I get warmed up.
Thanks, I'll be here all week. Try the mystery meat stew. The chow hall cooked it up special just for Jo and us folks' heyah.
Semper Fidelis, and pass the Tabasco sauce

He will be remembered by all of us. I bet the Republicans name a few buildings and schools for this foolish man. And an airport, an aircraft carrier. Don't forget the presidential library. But it will have to be bigger than Daddy's at Texas A&M where right wing students can receive graduate degrees in International Studies and Political Science.

At this mid point of life,.... I just hope i live long enough to see the whole gang of these republican thugs handcuffed and frog marched out of the building and tried for treason. I want to see some perp walks of these guys. & serve some real time in a real fed place like Atlanta fed! You know,... with the recipients of the "trickle down" programs. yeah,... it's past time for some real justice to be dispensed.

I don't think its fair that the drugs Dubya is on are not made freely available to the public. No wonder that regardless of the poor tactical value of invading Iraq or the lack of WMD ( which I suppose Saddam would have sent to us by camel)he would have made the same decision anyway. Please don't tell him that Americans are more at risk of getting cancer then dying from a terrorists bullet, because I would hate to see what happens when he declares war on disease.
