I guess when it's a by-invitation-only canned happy-talk "townhall meeting/photo-op", the journalists (or whatever they call themselves these days) have to report things like this and ask no meaningful kwesschunz:

Then Our Beloved Monarch said this:
With an influence-peddling scandal swirling around Washington, Bush also said he expects elected officials to comply with the law and be open to scrutiny.
"In Washington, D.C., there needs to be high standards for the conduct of public officials," he said after a man asked him about tax fraud.
With the exception of course, of The Sovereign, because expecting openess, honesty, forthcoming answers or just simple facts would be a lot like asking for the winning lottery numbers before the balls hit the hopper. Just ain't gonna happen.
I'm sure Unka Karl wet himself laughing when Preznit Perpetual Prevaricator managed to get that line out with a straight face.
I wonder how he's gonna answer at the impeachment hearing?

On the other hand, it is good to see Preznit ChickenWit exercising his Bible given right to make decisions for his wife (said I trying to hide MY smirk).
