Troubles in River City

Hi guys. Somehow, I have had some weird problems with my host and all my files that drive the blog became inaccessible. Comments are still not working properly, and I need to figure that out.

Working on it... -sigh-

At least my host has good tech support, and they have been helping...it's just frustrating to have to go through this.

Will keep you updated. Thanks for your patience.

Update

We're getting this fixed. Comments seem to work again. Just making sure all is well.

Glad I have decent tech support... :)

Update 2

All seems to be working well. A faithful reader left a comment, which seems to have worked, and I can, seemingly, make entries again. S, more bloggy goodness coming your way later today.

Remember, you can still (I think) vote in the Koufax's for your favorite blog More Deserving of Wider Recoginition. My mantle is bare, love to have one thing to dust. Never mind, voting is closed.

Have fun and wear your galoshes.

Hopefully the site is back up and working - this is a quality blog.

If you didn't already catch Virginia's future Senator Jim Webb on Hardball tonight, go check his blog entry at DailyKos:

Some great answers by former Navy Secretary Webb to some tough questions.

We need the help of democratic vets nationwide!
Help the Webb campaign raise $300,000 in 3 weeks!

see the segment on TDS with Paul Hackett. Too funny. Why on earth the party canned a man with that much Charisma....?
You can find the clip at "Crooks and Liars"

Test, test. [tap tap] Is this mike on?

Ah, the wonders of technology. Hope this isn't costing you any money seeing as it's apparently someone else's problem.

Nina-
All I can say is wow. Jim Webb is so spot on it is scary. Not sure he will beat Allen though. Allen is a tough, corrupt, mud slinging slick politician. It is going to take a lot of money for him to take and keep the initiative. Not sure how much the Democratic Party is supporting him either. He may have some trouble with the "Liberals" on defense issues and gun rights. There is a pretty big internal fight taking place within both parties right now. The repubs have the conservatives fighting the Neo Cons, and we on the dem side are in a full blown less publisized struggle of a New "old style" Democrat (JFK) V Clintonites and liberals. If Hackett is any measure, it is a fight the "Fighting Democrats" are losing. Perhaps we only lost the first battle, and not the war. One can only hope.
I hope he wins. Thanks for the link.
