I really liked the ad and was planning on forwarding it to a few people but I wanted to learn more about Vote# 116, 108th Congress, 1st Session before I did. I looked it up here:

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=108&session=1&vote=00116

...and noticed that Allen voted "Yea" on it.

Umm...can you explain to me how he voted against it?

Allen voted to table Landrieu's amendment to appropriate the money for the vests for the National Guard - that's the recorded Yea vote. This is the same misleading parliamentary tactic that ol' Holy Joe and the rest of the Goppers use to pretend to support the troops.
