Best things, worst things

Best:
Sensennbrenner will no longer run the House Judiciary Committee, therefore far less Whacko-Fascist legislation will issue forth.

Worst:
Lieberman is still there, and will probably be renting out his vote for undisclosed amounts of something negotiable.

Best:
Speaker Pelosi. "Just Denny" Hastert.

Worst:
Tom Delay is not incarcerated yet. He can still make some mischief on the hill.

Best:
Judicial nominations will recieve actual "advice and consent".

Worst:
Beloved Leader will still try and appoint someone like Roy Moore or Charles Pickering to the Supreme Court if he has the chance, just to pick a fight.

Best:
Pork might actually end.

Worst:
Pork might not actually end.

Contributions? My brain is tired. :)

Not even on the Hill. He resigned and is not coming back.

Jo you have two choices. One you can push back your chair and get some well deserved rest. "Nope thanks, got to hit the road". Or you can call in sick and "party like it is 1999". I just talked to my boss and told him that while I would make sure five or six action items out of the office would absolutely be taken care of today somehow I was just too ill to actually make it into the office,

I am about 89 days into a 90 day probationary period and my boss is a Republican but it has been a very long 12 years and I am ready to piss on Gingrich's grave. And he is not even (technically) dead yet.

Best: Rove tossed over the side.

Worst: Rove tossed over the side. (What will we Dems do without the genius of Karl running the opposition against us?)

I look forward to Sensennbrenner being subpoened to appear before a Democratic committee in a room they didn't have to beg him to have. Maybe they can give him a ceremonial gavel mounted on a plaque as a memento
